He was predeceased by: his parents, Liguory Fernandes and Mary Magdalene Fernandes; and his siblings, Terrance Fernandes (Bibian) and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Thelma "Nana" Fernandes (Noronha); his sons, Dr. Karl (Shaila), Deacon Trevor (Tamara), Dr. Ashley (Shruti), Earl Fernandes and Dr. Eustace (Anne); and his siblings, Margaret Joseph (Eddie), Brian Fernandes (Ida) and Vernon Fernandes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to designate offerings to the Mercy Saint Charles Foundation, Saint Francis de Sales High School, and the Diocese of Toledo Educational Fund for Seminarians.
