He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kohl and Maude E. Kohl (Lusher); and his wife Ruby V. Gray. He is survived by: his son Douglas A. Kohl (Kim); and his grandson John W. Frank (Christy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
