He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Vincent; his grandparents, Mabel, John Sayen and Carl A. Forshey; his mother Betty Siemieracki (Caro) of Virginia; his parents-in-law, Mike and Helen Pollick; and his brother-in-law Raymond Pollick.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Pollick (Pollick); his siblings, Carol Meader (William), Nancy Koepfler (Thomas) and Robert Caro (Linda); his children, Scott Caro (Kevin), Sharon LaVoy (Bradley) and Shelly Reiser (Tony); and his grandchildren, Matthew LaVoy (Eleese), Miranda LaVoy, Michael LaVoy, Justine Metroff, Guiliana Reiser, Quentin Reiser and Nicholas Caro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Law Enforcement Foundation.
