He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Reid Tait and Lucy Richardson Rudderow Tait; and his brother John Reid Tait. He is survived by: his close friend Dottie Wilkerson; his daughters, Elizabeth Parmi (Ralph Leech) of Worthington and Amy Parmi (John) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Nick and Addison; and his nieces, Gretchen Bjornstad and Mary Tait.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Timothy's church, the Erie Shores Council BSA or the Black Swamp Conservancy.
