He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Katafias (Drzewiecki) and Anthony Katafias; his wife Patricia J. (Nowak); his daughter Christine Katafias; and his siblings, Ervin Katafias, Elizabeth Katafias and Jane Katafias.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Katafias (Barb), Constance Katafias, David Katafias, Mark Katafias (Sherri), Claudia Losek (Joe), Christopher Katafias and Patrick Katafias (Brenda); and his sister Mary Jo Klocinski.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patrick's name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
