It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Muriel Griffis of Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on July 5, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Taylor and Olinda Taylor (Lehman); her husband Rex Griffis; her siblings, Searle, Eugene, John and Vada; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Griffis.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Griffis (Anita), Joan Hahn (Mark), Steve Coburn-Griffis (Anne) and Jane Bennight (Bryan); her grandchildren, Chelsea, Aryn, Jory, Amanda, Danner, Grace, Emma, Rowan, Lauren, Aaron and Austin; and her great grandchild Reina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with concerns regarding COVID-19 and the coronavirus pandemic, a small, private ceremony will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maumee United Methodist Church, 405 Sackett Street, Maumee, OH 43537.
