She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Shaffer and Vera Shaffer (Roush). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Randall L. Finken; her daughters, Rebecca Kudner (Donald) and Monica Baden (Christopher); her grandsons, Catcher Baden (Elise Kulik) and Corey Baden; and her great grandchildren, Brianna and Tyler.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mitylene's name to the Toledo Area Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter.
