With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael A. Sopkovich in Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on June 14, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Michael Leonard Sopkovich; his brother James Sopkovich; and his niece Megan. He is survived by: his wife Alyce Sopkovich; his daughters, Emily Burbacher (Scot), Rachel Sopkovich (Ricky Poland), Liz Sopkovich (Scott Balzer) and Rose Sopkovich (Mina Tanios); his grandchildren, Lennon and Beckett Burbacher; his daughter Ryker Poland; his mother Mary Elizabeth Brown; his siblings, Mari Lynn Koblenzer (Rob), Bobby Brown (Carla) and Barb Swope (Chris); and his aunt Helen Philibin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to Nature's Nursery (Whitehouse, Ohio) and Pelotonia. Keep Michael's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
