With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary M. Shumaker of Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Pandora, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Shumaker and Anna Shumaker (Ardner); and her siblings, Clarence Shumaker and Elizabeth "Betty" Gordon. She is survived by: her niece Sandra Vroman (late Harold J. Vroman); and her great-nephew Mark Merz (Jerome Webster).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (300 Warner St, Walbridge, OH 43465). A Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
