He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marvin O. Meadows and Dorothy J. Meadows (Turner); his wife Kay; his children, Richard Meadows (Denise) and Cherri Farley (Brett); his grandchildren, Andrew, Meghan, Kaitlyn and Sarah; and his sister Deanna Willey (James). He was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
