He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Vajen and Evelyn Vajen (Harmon); and his brother-in-law Ron Haas. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Vajen; his sons, Mike (Shelly) and Jim Vajen (Jennifer Artz); and his sister Betty Haas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Ken's name may be made to Zoar Lutheran Church.
