John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Whitescarver and Myrtie Whitescarver; his former wife Eileen Whitescarver; and his siblings, Chester, Lawrence, Herman, Jewel, Kenneth, Clarine, Marge and Bernice.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Whitescarver; his children, Michael Whitescarver, Steve Whitescarver (Lucita), Tim Whitescarver and Laurie Shipp (Jim); his stepdaughters, Robin Sisak (Charles), Denise Russell (John), Pamela Arendt and Victoria Arendt (Brad); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Lisa, Amy, Chris, Sean, Nathan, Julian, Kelsey, Michelle, Douglas, Donald, Julie, Christine, David, Jimmy and Nicholas. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and two fifth-generation great-great-grandchildren.
