He is survived by: his children, Jacqualynn, Kristian and Ali Karsten; his siblings, Janelle Karsten, Jamie Pierman, Jerry Karsten (Karen), Janis Graves (Howard) and Jeffry Karsten (Nadine); and his close friend Brutus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
