He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Griner and Cora Griner (Snyder); and his children, Howard Griner and Sheila Lee. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Griner; his sons, Gary, Roger (Kimberly) and Kenneth Griner; his grandchildren, Lindsey Shrewsbery (Jon-Alan), Brittany Krock (John), Samantha Griner (Justin Sawmiller) and Cory Griner; his great grandchildren, Ivy Krock and Alessi Sawmiller; and his siblings-in-law, Kate Warns, Lila Younkin, Patti Schinharl, Larry (Mary), Dan (Carol), Ike (Jo) and Rex Wamer (Dorothy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
