Helyn T. Kurfess Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024, at the age of 93, Helyn T. Kurfess of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Rudolph and Verna Rudolph (Libbe); her husband Charles Kurfess of John's Lutheran Church; her great grandchild Libbe Rose; and her siblings, John, Frederick, Kermit and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Kurfess (Cheryl), Ann Hale (Warren) and Laura Hertzfeld (Richard); her grandchildren, Lucas Hale (Melissa), Kraig Hale (Brooke), Grant Hale (Cara), Eleanor Hertzfeld and Amy Brown (Riley); her great grandchildren, Sophie, Peyton, Archer, Ridge, June, Knox, Charlie, Oaklynn and Wyatt; and her siblings, Kathleen Holzman and Philip Rudolph, Sr. (Preceding).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests tributes be considered to: St. John's Lutheran Church, Hospice of NW Ohio, or Bowling Green State University Foundation Charles and Helyn Kurfess Scholarship-Arts & Sciences.
