With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen S. Bernard of Perrysburg, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund E. Schuster and Alice Schuster (Dibling); her husband Pete; her sisters, Mary Heilman and Margaret Schuster; and her children-in-law, Debra Matte Bernard and Pete Schaf.
She is survived by: her children, Debbe Becker (Tom), Betsy Schaf, Brad Bernard and Peter Bernard; her sister Susan E. Mikolajczyk; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Triplett (Leanne), Will Triplett, Michael Triplett, Lily Calhoun, Jane Calhoun, Jack Calhoun, John Walter, Charlie Walter, Alice Walter, JP Main, Camden Main, Kellen Holmes, Avery Holmes and Ella Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice of NW Ohio.
