She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Friesenhahn and Julia Sczech. She is survived by: her husband Karl J. Neiling; her children, Jennifer Dykes, Brent Neiling (Shannon), Britni Theofilos (Peter) and Ryan Neiling (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Emily, Adam, John, Conner, Hannah, Carter, Eloise and Parker.

Memorial contributions may be made in Gerri's name to the Bowling Green Pregnancy Center or to a charity of the donor's choice.
