George Christopher Hasselkaus Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Christopher Hasselkaus of Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norma Hasselkus (Voll) and Russel B Hasselkus; and his sister Gretchen Hasselkus. He is survived by: his wife Hope M. (Weinheimer); his children, Cindy Hasselkus-Light (James), Debbie Leibig (John), Rick Hasselkus (Tina), Laura Logan (Denis), Chris Hasselkus (Jennifer) and John Hiles (Tania); his grandchildren, Denis Logan, Samantha Awada (Hussein), Kira Light, Shane Leibig, Serena Shumate (Rob), Riley Hasselkus (Taylor), Valerie Fenimore (John), Dylan Logan, Morgan Hasselkus, Wesley Hiles, Simon Leibig, Evan Williams and Logan Williams; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Brayden, Ryan and Brennley.

Memorial contributions can be made in Chris' name to the National Park Foundation.
