He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Duty (Grolle) and Harold Duty; his brothers, Gene and Bill Duty; and his nephew Daniel Duty.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay (Dauer); his children, Kristen Reighard (Tim) of St. Louis, Laura Short (Jeff) of Perrysburg and Justin Duty (Nicole) of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Logan Short and Nolan Duty; his sisters-in-law, Diane Duty, Ruth Ann Duty and Sue Goebel (Rusty); and his mother-in-law Ruth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "Catch Your Moment Foundation" (a non-profit 503-C) created in memory of Daniel Duty that funds fishing trips to cancer patients and/or members of their family.
