He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ross Samples and Mary Catherine Samples (Gordon). He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Caress Samples (Jan); his daughters, Elizabeth Samples Ury and Julie Rebekah Samples; his granddaughter Hannah Christine Ury; and his sister Linda Warner (Samples).
