He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mishka and Hattie Mishka (Przyojski); and his siblings, Frank, Richard, Paul, Jackie Mishka, Beverly Harder (Al) and Shirley Kreais (John).
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Sloop; his sons, William "Bill" Mishka (Ann) and Thomas "Tom" Mishka (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Timothy "Tim" Mishka, Jordanna Mishka, Jesse Mishka and Jared Mishka; and his sister-in-law De Hauden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 E South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Gene's name to H.O.O.V.E.S., 4055 Wilkins Road, Swanton, Ohio 43558.
