She was predeceased by: her father William Kersey. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Kersey (Stoltz); her husband John Hinojosa; her children, Eric Hinojosa (Alicia), Nicole Weaver (LeShay), Sean Hinojosa (Thays) and Stephen Hinojosa (Megan); her grandchildren, Tyler, Paris, Casie, Collin, Hayes, Leeah, Avery, Amelia, Alexander and Emmanuel; her great grandchild Rhett; and her siblings, Michael Kersey (Joel), Karen Coehrs (Gary) and William Kersey (Tracie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
