She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Karlen and Evangeline Karlen (Sorenson); her husband Jospeh Sabo; and her siblings, Clyde Karlen, Wilton Karlen, Eugenia Voytovich and Betty Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Yankie (Dan), Lynn Karlsson (Gudmundur), David Pomietlo (Cindy) and Raymond Pomietlo (Rosella). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
