He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kaiser and Doris Kaiser (Ramsey); his daughter Debra Newbauer; and his stepfather Paul Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Kaiser (Clark); his daughter Kelly Marks; his grandchildren, Thomas Newbauer (Elizabeth West), Kyle Marks (Jaycee Jones) and Molly Newbauer (Lucas Marcinik); and his sisters, Beverly Rentsch, Patricia "Pat" Harris and Paula Baker.
