He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Garaux and Audrey Garaux (Mann). He is survived by: his children, Shawn Waers Garaux of Canton and Andrea Bracken (Christopher) of Canton; his sisters, Ruth Garaux of Canton and Connie Selway of Canton; his grandchildren, Jaleo, Emily, Matthew and Audrey Lynn; and his stepgrandchildren, Janessa and Hailey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations may be mad in his name to Akron Children's Hospital of Toys for Tots.
