With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Raymond Hood of Perry, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Raymond Hood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Hood and Helen Hood (Miller); and his siblings, Gloria Elasky, Flo Gearig, Herschel Hood, Terry Hood and Dolly Braid.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Hood; and his children, Sarah Eddy and Mark Hood (Rachel). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Canton Christian Home (2550 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Mission School: 1760 Edgewater Drive, Grundy, VA 24614 or the Canton Christian Home.
