It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildreth Joann Buchan of Perry, Ohio, born in Patriot, Ohio, who passed away on June 3, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce C. Buchan; her parents, Edward Parkins and Bonnie Parkins (Taylor); and her sibling Marinelle Jeffers (Leon). She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Tischer (Bryce) of North Perry, Robert Buchan (Cheryl) of Kirtland and Brian Buchan (Sue) of Huntersville, NC; her grandchildren, Makayla Rice (Tyler), Angela Laskodi (Jason), Kristan Bryant (Rich), Nick Mohr (Paige), Taylor Buchan and Andra Buchan; her great grandchildren, Hailey Rice, Kellan Rice, Brooke Bryant, Markus Laskodi, Nolan Mohr and Samuel Mohr; and her siblings, Earl Parkins (Pat) and Mildred Harris (Dave). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Joann's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
