She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Sanderson (Clark) and Henry Sanderson; her husband Albert; her granddaughter Karie Bair; and her siblings, Carol Sanderson and Thomas Sanderson.

She is survived by: her children, Lorre Chalfant (Dennis), Gary Garland, Sr., Mark Garland (Dawn) and Susan Lewis (Chris); her grandchildren, Aimee, Gary, Jr. (Courtney), Marcus (Ashley), Joshua, Seth and Caleb (Maddie Miller); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Isaiah, Parker, Abby, Liam, Paislee and Elliott; and her brothers, Randall Sanderson (Elizabeth) and Charles Sanderson (Arda).
