It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna Jean Simmons of Perry, Ohio, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Snyder and Faith Snyder; and her husband James W. Simmons Sr.. She is survived by: her children, James Simmons Jr. (Kathy), Heather Veller (John) and Christopher Meredith (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Joseph, Isabella Russo and Willow Meredith; and her brothers, Allen Snyder (Janet), Gerald Snyder (Donna) and William Snyder (Phyllis).

Contributions may be made in Donna's name to St. Croix Hospice of Rockford, IL and the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation, Akron, OH.
