It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Eugene Brown of Perry, Ohio, born in Newark, Ohio, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Eugene; his sister Christina Underwood (Alan); and his brother-in-law Jeff Mathews. He is survived by: his mother Zelma May Brown (Hupp); his wife Debra; his daughters, Kendall Brown-Clovis (Carl "K. C.") and Autumn McKillips (Eric); his grandchildren, Kyen and Lyza; his siblings, Dwight Brown (Mary), Cynthia Mathews, Claudia Brown, Cheryl Verba (Andy) and Cathy Jenkins (Wayne); his friends, Jason Foltz, Greg Goebel and Ron Koehler; and his former wife Patti Ridenour (Jon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Sheridan Athletic Boosters or Zanesville's Genesis HealthCare Cancer Foundation in Darrell's memory.
