She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Schneider and Lee Schneider. She is survived by: her husband Leonard; her sisters, Rhoda Agin (late Herbert) and Sheila Farkas (Allan); her sons, Andrew (Wendy Cicek) and David (Mindy); her grandchildren, Eli Steiger, Mariah Steiger (Jerry Johnson), Allegra Steiger (Kevin Lissemore), Chelsea Custozzo (Adam), Carly Bremenour and Scott Newkirk; and her great grandchildren, Luke, Beau, Jane, Tess Custozzo and Willa Kells.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center, and the National Council of Jewish Women/Thriftique.
