He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn; his children, Sharon Krachinsky (Daniel), Kathleen Snedeker (Jeffrey) and Paul Kaczmarski (Michelle); his grandchildren, Laurie, Kimberly, Ryan and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Jaedyn, Ruthie, Lincoln and Cason; and his brothers, Robert Kaczmarski (Marylou) and Leonard.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church (6034 S Locust St, Peninsula, OH 44264).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Gene's name to the Mother of Sorrows Restoration Fund at the church.
