With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene U. Gonyer of Pemberville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene U. Gonyer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vaughn and Dora Vaughn (Richards); her husband William E. Gonyer; her daughter Sue Reither; her grandson Jason Carr; her great grandchild Infant Auston Carr; and her sisters, Ilene Smith and Ruby.
She is survived by: her daughter Patty Carr (Henry); her grandsons, Todd Reither (Kelly) of Pemberville, Wade Carr, David Carr and Bob Reither (Sandie); and her brothers, Murtan, Paul, Dennis, Hack and Richard. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home (4094 OH-105, Pemberville, OH 43450). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: A charity of the donor's choice.
