She is survived by: her spouse Gene Walston; her children, Jeremy Walston, MD (George Lavdas) of Baltimore and Wendy Vaughn (Alan) of Pemberville; her grandchildren, Grace, Oliver and Alexander; and her brother Frederick George (Cathy) of Wellington, OH. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
