She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern A. Perney and Margaret Perney (Beltz); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Hoot; and her siblings, Marie Sampsell, Donald and Vernard Perney.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Hoot (Shirley) of Toledo, Gary Hoot of Sylvania, Greg Hoot of Bowling Green, Susan Simpson (Scott) of Big Bear, CA, Jenna Wasylyshyn (Mark) of Bowling Green and John Hoot (Linda McFaul) of Monroe, MI; and her brother Bill Perney (Margie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
