She was predeceased by: her parents, Sheldon Castle and Esther Castle (Norman); her husband Robert W. Christel; and her siblings, Martha Faye, Frances, Wilbur, Grace, Marie, Clyde, Lucille and Jane (Agnes Lewis).
She is survived by: her son Richard Christel (Tracy) of Perrysburg, OH; her granddaughters, Kimberley Black (Dean) of Jacksonville, FL and Julie Scalf (David) of Madison, AL; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Savannah, Hunter, Alanna, Silas, Alex, Aaron and Ryan; and her niece Pat Wollam.
Memorial contributions may be made in Doris's name to WLMB (TV40), Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg or Otterbein Portage Valley.
