He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Michel and Margaret Michel; his wife Virginia; his daughter Carol; and his siblings, Rolland and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his children, Gail Michel, Galen Michel (Shirley) and Andrea Marchal (Bill); his stepdaughter Sally McClure; his sisters, Donna Mae Brough and Gloria Jean Paul; his brother-in-law Randall Cook; and his friend Phyllis Mizelle. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: the Wounded Warrior Project.
