He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Franklin and Caroline Marie Kohring (Ernsthausen); and his brother Raymond Kohring. He is survived by: his spouse Carole A. Lewis; his children, Julie Fletcher (Thom) and Jeff Kohring (Kim); his granddaughters, Tara Sarver (Zach), Pemberville, Emily Green (Chad) of Portage and Erica Kohring (Zach Aurand) of Wayne; his great grandchild Cora; and his sister Carol Crawford of Wayne.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of contributions to: Salem Grace United Lutheran Church.
