She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Avers and Louise Avers (Lohrbach); her husband Paul Smearsoll of Pemberville; and her sons, George and Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Gilmore (Joseph) and Don Smearsoll (Susan) of Greenville; her daughters-in-law, Mary Lou Smearsoll of Salem and Jeanne Smearsoll of Loveland; and her brothers, Walter, Albert, Henry and Richard. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
