He is survived by: his wife Jo Hanson (Smittle); his children, Steve Hanson (Penny) of Peebles, Russell Hanson (Sandie) of Peebles, Lisa Hanson-Scott of Peebles, Dawn Wallace (Rodney) of Peebles and Nicole Roades (Brad) of Hillsboro; his sisters, Carol Browning (Danny) of Peebles and Diane (Kimmy Rogers) of Manchester; and his brothers-in-law, Tilden Sowards of Peebles and Donnie Brewer of Xenia. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, and his nine great grandchildren.
