He is survived by: his wife Carol Howard (McCleese); his sons, Roy Howard, II (Summer) of Highland, Ohio and Jason Howard of Hillsboro; and his siblings, Rick Howard of Peebles, Rob Howard of Harlan, Kentucky, Judy Fields of Peebles and Gina Steward of Hopkinsville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
