With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Wilson of Peebles, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wilson and Dorothy Wilson (Moore); and his siblings, Ronald Wilson and Mary Smith. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Wilson (Caplinger); his daughters, Leesa Wilson (Kelly McFarland) of Seaman and Tangie McKenzie (Mark); his siblings, James Wilson (Donna) of Springfield, Gary Wilson (Zanda) of Peebles, Shirley Kay Johnson (Gary) of Wilmington, Garnet Conn of Peebles and Diane Campbell (Steve) of Washington, CH.; his grandsons, Jeremy McKenzie (Sarah) and Jonathon Mackenzie (Damian); and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Judd, Kendall and Baylen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home (119 Rarden Rd, Peebles, OH 45660). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Flip's memory to the Peebles Athletic Boosters Club.
