He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Fulton and Thelma Fulton (Cooley); and his siblings, Larry, Dale and Nancy Rigdon Goins.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Fulton of Peebles; and his sons, David Fulton (Lea), Rick Fulton (Judy) and Terrance Tee Thomas of Peebles.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Pike County Shriner's Club.
