He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gillespie and Lorene Gillespie (Horner). He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Shelton (Kalan) of West Union; and his siblings, Diane Palmer (Tom) of Peebles, Donna Kremin of Rarden, Sonny Ewick of Peebles, Ed Gillespie (Jeanette) of Peebles and Donald Gillespie of Peebles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
