He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ford and Mabel Ford (DeAtley); his wife Elizabeth Brodbeck Ford (Betty); and his sister Virginia Louise Mason. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Ford (Emely) of Powell, Ohio and Michael Ford (Lori) of Buckeye; his sisters, Violet Ryan of Peebles and Anna Singer of Peebles; and his grandchildren, Bryan, Tyler, Kyle, Erin and Andrea.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Jim's name to the charity of choice.
