He is survived by: his mother Joyce Thatcher (Nichols) of Peebles; his wife Susan Thatcher (Shaw); his siblings, Roger Thatcher (Robin) of Seaman, Keith Thatcher (Tammy) of Winchester, George Thatcher of Peebles, Pam Crum (Jerry) of Sinking Spring and Debbie Clift of Winchester; and his adoptive son Johnny Barrett, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
