She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dick and Evelyn Dick (Grover); and her sisters, Charlotte Shoemaker and Sharma Pegan. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Shoemaker (Darlene) of Peebles, Forrest Shoemaker (Linda) of Peebles and Kay Conley (Martin) of Flemingsburg, KY; and her sister Donna Armstrong of Hillsboro. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.
