With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Lee Newman of Peebles, Ohio, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Stanley); and her sister Joanne Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Newman; her children, Jeffrey Newman (Vanessa) of Hillsboro and Lisa Schlueter (Ricky) of Seaman; her siblings, Chuck Johnson (Kay) of Peebles, Roy Johnson (Loretta) of Sabina, Willie Johnson (Pam) of Peebles and Jodie Thompson of West Union; and her grandsons, Damon and Jeffrey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the Peebles Church of the Nazarene (95 Vine St, Peebles, OH 45660). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
