He is survived by: his children, Jeff Wert of Peebles, Pam Landwehr (Todd) of Hamilton and Lisa Wert-Rea (Felipe) of Hamilton; and his sister Sandy Spradling of Hamilton. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, and his seven great-grandchildren.
