With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Bowens of Peebles, Ohio, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bowens and Marie Bowens (Meade); his wife Faye A. Bowens (West); and his brother Bob Bowens. He is survived by: his daughters, Tamarah K. Adams (Bruce) of Columbus, OH., Christina R. Bowens of Columbus, OH. and Ellen M. Booth (Johnny) of Columbus, OH.; and his siblings, Benny Bowens (Norma) of Peebles, Burton Bowens (Debbie) of West Union, Luther Bowens Peebles (Shirley Howell), James Bowens (Tonja) of Hamersville, Judy Bartley (Chris), Peggy Shields of Peebles, Pat Shields of Peebles, Brenda Bowens and Sharon Conaway (Greg) of Peebles. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
